I gotta say that two B800‘s work a lot better then just one, common sense huh?? Well I work with what I have, equipment costs money that I usually don’t have so that’s why I used to just use an Alien Bee’s B800 w/an Octabox. I used that setup for a long time and on a lot of different shoots, then I had to pick up a ABR800 w/ the Moon Unit a few years later which I loved…emphasize the “LOVED“, I mean I still love the ringflash but the amazing light that I’m getting now from my two B800‘s and two shoot through umbrellas is just amazing! I absolutely love the fact that they are light weight, small enough to store away easily and create an even light with no shadows. I guess that’s why ‘they’ say …two heads are better then one.
